It’s beginning to fall apart... new management has no real management expereince, old management just want’s thier contracted payckeck and to get out. The Company Troll has managed to grab power by getting a bunch of his relatives hired, and by brown-nosing to new management because, as usual he doen’t actually do enough work to fill his day so he has time to schmooze.

It’s getting bad folks.

Saying this out loud is terrifying becuase if it keeps going like it is I’m likely to be out a job, and/or forced to quit because I just fucking can’t even anymore.

I’ve been steeled, by typing this, now time to write an email to the new management and tell them to open their eyes.

I can’t say I’d recommend doing this unless you are at or above the level of management. Just start the process of looking for a new job.

A number of years ago, I was going to send a letter (I don’t remember exactly why) to the management of the orchestra I play in. Before sending the letter (this was in the days before email was widespread), I showed it to my trumpet professor. He read it, and said, “This is one of those letters that is best written and never sent.” Writing a letter or typing an email can be cathartic, but, if you are determined to have people know how you feel, a meeting is a much better way to go about it. Words on the page or on the screen are easily misinterpreted, and can come across as accusatory. Face to face communication, while it might be uncomfortable, is far better. Good luck. Maybe it’s time to dust off your resume.
